SimplyTrak saves AutoCar Logistics £500,000!!!

Humberside Police had an easy job today as an auto-transporter owned by AutoCar Logistics of Wexford Ireland was stolen and quickly recovered thanks to SimplyTrak. The truck, fully laden with BMW's was at a truckstop as the driver took a break. The thieves broke in and drove off with the vehicle around the streets of Hull, only to be quickly apprehended for their sins.

AutoCar Head Office talked the police in to exactly where the vehicle was travelling giving speed, direction and exact street locations to the pursuing officers. The thieves were arrested immediately as they stopped the truck in a side street in the city.

A spokesman for AutoCar said "this is the first time we have had a vehicle stolen and it is more than fortunate that we had installed SimplyTrak just a few weeks beforehand. We thought it was a joke at first when the driver called but it turned out to be the best investment we have ever made".
